Love sending intimate private messages to the models you're chatting up? We've just streamlined the experience! Now you can seamlessly flip between chatting publicly and chatting privately with a single click. Simply select one of the new tabs now located at the the top of the chat panel, as shown below.

On mobile, tap the Whisper icon next to the Send Message field.

With the Whisper tab selected, your chat conversation will automatically be for your model's eyes only. Any messages you send with the Public Chat tab selected will be visible to all members in the chatroom.
Note: While this new interface eliminates the need to enter a "/" before sending a whisper chat message, that functionality remains available. Also, if you have the "Type in Whispers Only" option toggled on in your chat settings, your messages will only appear under the "Whisper Tab" no matter which tab you have active at the time.
In this update, we have also simplified your access to different tip options. Now you can select a tab for each active tip type, whether you're sending a custom tip, a "Gift" or a token of your affection from our "Holiday" selection. Access to distinct tip types has never been easier.

If I may ask .. why do you insist on fixing something that was not broken?
You mention that it "streamlines" the experience .. how does adding additional steps to engaging in a conversation with the model "streamline" it? Also, it is very possible for a model and the members in the room to be having a large group discussion, while the model and a specific member have a side conversation, perhaps about how to deal with a rude guest or other member.
You mention that there is no need to type a "/" any longer but "that functionality remains available," but what you did not say is that using the "/" automatically transitions you to the whisper tab, making it a mandatory switch.
I do not ONLY type in whispers; if necessary, I will type in public chat. I also read the public chat, in case something comes up and I want to be supportive of a model in the face of abusive members and guests. I might also whisper to the model to provide silent support and reassurance.
You mention simplifying the tip options by placing the tip types on different tabs. This was already in place and had been for quite some time, so please do not attempt to gaslight members into thinking that is a change. The only change is that the tab for the tip types was above the options, and now they are below, and the switch/lever/whatever to "Tip Anonymously" was below the options, and now it is above.
I do not know about others, but I personally have no difficulty keeping track of my own whispers with a model, and the fact that they are mixed in with the public chat does not bother me. I can only assume that the reason for this so-called improvement is because someone with a sense of entitlement complained and demanded these changes. However, I agree with the other commenters that these changes were unnecessary and a detraction rather than an improvement.
Please revert the interface back to how it was before these changes were implemented.
